Scotch Single Malt
Finlaggan
Finlaggan is a distinctive and affordable peated single malt, hailing from the Scottish island of Islay. The distillery of Finlaggan is Islay’s best-kept secret, but the whisky island itself is world-famous. It is renowned for its smoky whiskies, and that is precisely what Finlaggan embodies; a robust, characterful peated whisky, rich in the aromas of the peat smoke used to dry the malt, and the Scottish coast, where the whisky has been allowed to mature.
Tamnavulin
Hidden behind the river Livet, you will find a small group of unlikely skilled craftsmen who have been working for more than 50 years on the unique signature Speyside malt whiskey from the Tamnavulin distillery. They use only the finest ingredients and combine them with their lifelong knowledge of distilling. As a result, the Tamnavulin: an accessible whiskey, soft in taste, but without losing character.
Benriach
Benriach is a master of creating the most unique and special whiskys. Whoever says Benriach says: A world of flavour! Experimenting with taste is woven into the DNA of the brand and stems from founder John Duff’s lust for discovery. Today we see that reflected in every whisky. All the Benriach expressions are three-cask matured on casks from all over the world.
Glenglassaugh
Glenglassaugh is a coastal malt from the Highlands, from a unique place where all the senses are stimulated. The distillery is nestled in the beautiful sandbanks of Sandend Bay. Whisky is made here every day with open doors, with the fresh, salty sea breeze blowing through the distillery. The mineral-rich water and the coastal maturation: everything together makes the unique coastal single malt Glenglassaugh, formed by land and sea.
Fettercairn
Exceptionally refined Scottish whisky – Fettercairn is unique for its purity! The Fettercairn distillery is the only distillery on the foot of the Scottish Cairngorm Mountains (Highlands). In the mid-1950s the whisky-makers at Fettercairn experimented, seeking ways to create a purer expression of their spirit. They found that pouring water down the still cooled the copper, increasing condensation inside so only the lightest vapours could rise for collection. With this knowledge they fashioned a unique copper cooling ring around the neck of the stills drenching them with crystal clear mountain water – an ingenious and practical solution to creating their exceptional whisky, a technique which remains unique in Scotch whisky-making to this day.
